Timetable for filling new professorial chairs at the CNMS
When the CNMS was founded in July, 2006, the chairs in Ancient
Near Eastern Studies (Prof. Sommerfeld) and Semitic Studies (Prof.
Weninger), as well as the honorary professorship in Egyptology (Prof.
Hannig), were already in place.
Five further professorial chairs have since been established.
