The Institute aims to conduct state-of-the-art research and teaching in the area of corporate governance, incentives and value-based management, as well as related issues in valuation, taxation and financing. It is part of the Accounting and Finance Area at the School of Business Administration and Economics in Marburg. The Area, which also comprises the Institute of Finance and Banking (Prof. Nietert), the Institute of Financial Accounting (Prof. Mölls) as well as the Institute of Accounting (appointment in process), acts under the jointly determined themes of "Value-based Management" and “Corporate Valuation” in research as well as teaching. The Institute of Management Accounting is also part of MACIE (Marburg Center for Institutional Economics). Please note that in order to avoid inconsistencies we will only provide English websites. |
