Syrian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs holds lecture for the ECAR programme
Mr. Al-Dardari holds a lecture on Public-Private Partnerships
On 8 February 2010 Mr. Al-Dardari, Syrian's Deputy
Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, held a lecture entitled The
Public-Private Partnership and the New Public Management for the
students of the German-Arab degree programme Economic Change in the
Arab Region (ECAR). In his talk, which took place at the ECAR
premisses of Damascus University, Mr. Al-Dardari addressed Syria's
current economic situation and placed a particular emphasis on the
existing forms of public-private cooperation in Syria, their
requirements and goals.
Besides the ECAR students, the lecture was attended by Prof. Wael
Mualla, President of Damascus University, Prof. Dr. Raslan Khadour,
ECAR coordinator at Damascus University, Dr. Abed Fadilieh, executive
director of the ECAR programme at Damascus University, by the
vice-deans of the Faculty of Economics, heads of the departments and
the ECAR lecturers. Following the lecture, the attendants were invited
to drinks and snacks.
