ECAR students visit the Damascus Securities Exchange

On 9 February 2010 the students of the German-Arab Master's programme Economic Change in the Arab Region (ECAR) and the ECAR coordinator in Damascus, Prof. Dr. Raslan Khadour, visited the Damascus Securities Exchange (DSE) where they were given a guided tour of the DSE's facilities. 

The field trip to the DSE represents a further excursion to an organisation of relevance to the programme after the ECAR students had already been invited by the Damascus Office of the Kreditanstallt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) to see the premises of the KfW's micro-finance project in Homs.

The ECAR programme would like to thank the Damascus Securities Exchange as well as the KfW for providing the ECAR students with these opportunities.
