Christian Traxler is Professor of Economics and head of the Public Economics group in Marburg. He studied at the University of Vienna, Carlos III de Madrid and the University of Munich, where he graduated in 2006. After a Post Doc at CREED, University of Amsterdam, Christian moved to Bonn where he was a senior research fellow in Martin Hellwig's group at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods. In September 2011, Christian joined the Econ Department at the University Marburg. His research interests cover topics in applied micro, in particular, in Public Economics as well as in Law and Economics (Crime) and Behavioral Economics.
