We are honoured and pleased to invite you to the XVI "Workshop Aggression", which will take place from 10th to 12th November, 2011, at the Philipps-University Marburg.
The main topic of this year’s Workshop will be "Intergroup-Aggression".
The workshop aims at bringing together scholars from all fields which are relevant to intergroup aggression so that they can discuss their current research. We want to invite submissions of empirical papers from all fields of psychology, sociology, political science and other social sciences, which contribute to the field of intergroup aggression. These can cover the whole range of research questions related to intergroup aggression (real conflicts, the social and cognitive processes underlying intergroup conflicts, and interventions) and of methodological approaches (e.g. field studies, minimal group studies). We also want to welcome submissions from all other areas of aggression research. The conference language will be English. In exceptional cases, it will also be possible to submit presentations in German. We are glad and proud to welcome three prominent keynote speakers. These are Dr. Michaela Christ (The Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities), Prof. Brian Lickel (University of Massachusetts Amherst) and Dr. Ronald Fischer (Victoria University of Wellington).
You are cordially invited to present and discuss your own research project at the Workshop. Papers related to the central topic of the Workshop are especially welcome.
The deadline for submitting abstracts has passed, but it is still possible to register for the conference.
We may recategorise your paper as a poster, in which case we will notify you as quickly as possible. We are looking forward to seeing you in November in Marburg.
