How to find us
The Social Psychology work group is located in the building of the Psychology Department, Gutenbergstraße 18, on the second floor. This is how you can find us:
By train
After your arrival at the central station in Marburg, it will take you 25 minutes walking to get to the Psychology Department. There are also a number of busses found right in front of the central station that will bring you to the Psychology Department.
If you are going to take the bus, take one of the busses on the
opposite side of the street which are directed towards the center of
Marburg. Then get off at the stop "Gutenbergstraße", which will be 5-10
minutes from the train station. Cross the street and walk down the
"Gutenbergstraße". There will be a supermarket called "Tegut" on your
left side. Keep walking for 200m / 220yards until you reach a big red
building. This is the Psychology Department. Both entries are on the
other side of the building. The fastest way to get to us is through the
small entry (you can find it when you turn left and then right onto a
street called "Am Grün").
By car
...coming from the north
Leave the B3 by the exit "Marburg Stadtmitte". Turn right at the
traffic light onto the street "Erlenring". Follow the street for about
half a kilometer / 550yards. After having crossed a small bridge you
turn left at the first traffic light onto the "Universitätsstraße".
Follow the street until you reach the next traffic light where you will
turn left onto the "Gutenbergstraße". You will see the supermarket
"Tegut" on your left side.
Keep driving down the street for another 200meters / 220yards until you reach a big red building. This is the Psychology Department. Both entries are on the other side of the building.
The fastest way to get to us is through the small entry (you can find it when you turn left and then right onto a street called "Am Grün").
...coming from the south
Leave the B3 by the exit “Marburg Süd”. Turn right onto the B255. Follow the street for about half a kilometer/ 550 yards until you reach a traffic light. Then turn right onto the “Gisselberger Straße”. After one kilometer/ 1100 yards you get to a big junction where you turn left onto the “Schwanallee”. Then immediately make another right into the “Frankfurter Straße”. After about one kilometer/ 1100 yards you see a big red building on the left side, behind a parking lot. This is the Psychology Department. The fastest way to us is the small entry by the street “Am Grün”.
