Location

The Department of Indology and Tibetology is situated on Deutschhausstraße 12, in the "Carolinenhaus", North wing, 1. Floor. The main gate is just behind the Elisabethkirche in front of a parking area.

On foot

The "Carolinenhaus" is situated approx. 10 minutes by foot from the main rail station in Marburg. Follow Bahnhofstraße until the crossing with Robert-Koch-Str. and turn left. After a short walk on Robert-Koch-Str. you will reach a small bridge where you should turn right on Firmaneistr. along the North wing of the "Carolinenhaus". The main gate is on the western side of the building.

By bus

From the main rail way station (the bus stop is across the street to the right from the main gate) take bus line 1, 2, 6, 7 or C and take off at the bus stop "Elisabethkirche". The journey takes less than 5 minutes.
