Projektbeschreibung

Das Projekt befaßt sich mit dem Text der mittelirischen 'Bóroma'-Erzählung in der Handschrift Dublin, Royal Irish Academy, 23 P 2, dem sogenannten 'Buch von Lecan'. Die Arbeit konzentriert sich zunächst auf eine Edition und Übersetzung der bislang unedierten historischen Gedichte 'Fland for Érind', 'Augaine ár n-athair uile', 'Teamair teach Tuathail' und 'Cid toíseach día roibi bóroma Laigen', welche in die Erzählung eingefügt sind.
