Die AG Weitzel sucht derzeit einen engagierten Physik-Ingenieur/-in (FH):
Am Fachbereich Chemie, Physikalische Chemie, ist zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt die Stelle für eine/n
Physik-Ingenieur/-in (FH)
zu besetzen. Die Eingruppierung erfolgt je nach Qualifikation bis
Entgeltgruppe 10 des Tarifvertrages des Landes Hessen. Zu den Aufgaben
gehören die Konstruktion, Wartung und Betrieb wissenschaftlicher
Experimentieranordnungen in der Arbeitsgruppe von Herrn Prof. Dr. K.-M.
Weitzel. Das Aufgabengebiet kann sich ändern. Es wird die Bereitschaft
und Fähigkeit erwartet, sich in andere Aufgabenfelder einzuarbeiten und
sie zu übernehmen.
Vorausgesetzt wird ein abgeschlossenes Fachhochschulstudium des
Studiengangs Physikalische Technik oder Lasertechnik bzw. eine
gleichwertige Qualifikation. Vertiefte Kenntnisse auf den
Gebieten Laserphysik, Massenspektrometrie (TOF-MS,
QMS), Vakuumtechnologie (FV, HV, UHV) sowie Messdatenerfassung
und Prozesssteuerung (LabView) werden erwartet. Kenntnisse auf dem
Gebiet der Ultra-Kurzpuls-Laser, der Materialeigenschaften und der
Konstruktion von Experimentieranordnungen sind erwünscht.
Opening for a permanent physics engineer position
The Weitzel group has an immediate opening for a permanent physics engineer position. We are seeking for a highly motivated candidate taking over technical responsibility for several laser labs as well as the high vacuum equipment of the entire group.

In particular, the successful candidate will have to take care of our femtosecond laser lab. The equipment includes commercial Ti:Sapph oscillators, amplifiers, TOPAS, pulse characterization devices as well as home-built fs-interferometers, hollow-fibre compressors etc..
Qualification required: 4 years of academic education, equivalent to german “Physik-Ingenieur” (physics engineer).

For working in our group experience in physical chemistry or physics is required. Experience with lasers or ion spectrometers is desirable. Teaching laboratory courses in physical chemistry is mandatory.
