TECHNICAL INNOVATION
While conventional fields of nature utilization (like agriculture or
forestry) have a commonly accepted set of regulations for procedure
discussion on such standards in nature conservation is still going on.
Landscape planning, originally dedicated to solve these problems,
turned out to be a bandwagon, for it is understood in public as
“conservation planning” only (on the basis of a segregative
conservation approach), not supporting a public discussion on
“sustainability”.
Our group targeted this problem by developing new methods for
conservation planning and setting up standards for “best ecological
practise” for agriculture, which is the main factor of nature
degradation worldwide.
