Teaching Basics
At Marburg University, Faculty of Biology, study starts exclusively in the winter term (which is in Germany from mid-October to mid-February) and normally follows a two-semester cycle.
Two scientific groups, headed by Birgit Ziegenhagen and Harald Plachter, offer a broad and comprehensive spectrum of knowledge for all fields of nature conservation.
We contribute to this curriculum (click for teachings of the current term)of the faculty by lectures, seminars and courses for:
-
Diploma in Biology, second undergraduate phase (Hauptstudium) finished since 2007
All lectures and seminars are presented bilingual in German and
English. All students fluently speaking one of these languages and
having basic knowledge of the other should be able to follow the
presentations.
For foreign students all lectures and seminars can be freely combined
according to the requirements of their home university. For further
information please contact the Division for International Relations of the
university.
