I'm interested in evolutionary differences between brains of different insect species - especially their antennal lobes. Therefore I'm examining the brains of the spruce bark beetle Ips typographus, the small hive beetle Aethina tumida, and the red flour beetle Tribolium castaneum regarding their neuromediator content and distribution. |
