I am interested in the physiology of neuropeptide release from peptidergic neurons in the central nervous system of Drosophila melanogaster.
For this purpose, I describe the morphology of these neurons using immunostainings, specific reporter gene expression (GAL4-UAS binary system) and 3D reconstructions.
