Wegener Lab - Dr. Christian Wegener

wegener_bild
drosophila  manduca My main scientific interest is in peptidomics, architecture, and regulation of peptidergic signaling systems in insects. I aim to understand how the small insect nervous system regulates the activity of peptidergic signaling systems and the release of peptide hormones. Our studies will help to understand the evolutionary development of peptidergic system.
