Information for International Visitors

• The museum is open on Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm, Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 1 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.

• The entrance fee is 1 Euro per person; 0,50 Euro for children from 12 to 16, students and handicapped visitors; children under 12 are admitted for free.

• The Mineralogical Museum is located right behind St. Elizabeth Church at Firmaneiplatz in the center of Marburg. Click on the picture below to see the enlarged and printable version of the map.

• If you want to support the Mineralogical Museum, go to "Freundeskreis des Marburger Mineralogischen Museums e.V.", a non-profit association that has contributed a lot to the museum since its founding in 1990. Today the association has about 240 members.
