Description of scientific project:
The laboratory of parasitologie deals with the glycobiology of
parasitic protozoa, i.e. the biosynthesis, structure and function of
the carbohydrate moieties of protozoal proteins and lipds. In
particular, work is focussing on GPI-membraneanchors of Plasmodium
falciparum, Toxoplasma gondii, Trypanosoma brucei, Trypanosome
congolense and Trypanosoma cruzi.
