Language

All lectures will be held in English. Good English language skills are necessary.

In addition to the already acquired skills TEOS consortium offers students language training at every university, starting with English for professionals in Ambleside, continuing with Norwegian in Oslo and with German in Marburg. These courses should deepen the knowledge of all selected students. But it should also raise the possibility to explore one of the most important parts of one culture, the language. This also will offer students the chance to gain competencies in local languages and to engage effectively with the communities they are living and working within.

The costs for these language courses are part of the participation fee.
