Directions to Marburg
Train
InterCity trains from various cities (as Hamburg, Hannvoer, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe) stop in Marburg every two hours. Regional trains from cities as Giessen, Kassel and Frankfurt go at least once an hour. For timetables and connections please see www.bahn.deCar
From Hamburg/Hannover on A7: At the junction Kassel-Ost switch to A49 in the direction of Bad Wildungen and Marburg. Leave the autobahn in Borken and continue on Road B3 to Marburg.From Leipzig/Erfurt on A4: At the junction Kirchheimer Dreieck switch to A7 in the direction of Würzburg. Two exits later, at Hattenbacher Dreieck switch to A5 to Giessen. Leave the autobahn at exit Alsfeld and follow Road B62 to Marburg.
From Düsseldorf/Köln on A3: At the junction Kreuz Köln-Ost switch to autobahn A4 to Olpe. At the junction Olpe-Süd switch to A45 to Siegen and Frankfurt. At the junction Wetzlar-Ost leave the autobahn and continue on road B49 in the direction of Giessen. From Giessener Ring Marburg is indicated on the signs taking you onto road B3.
From Frankfurt on A5: At the junction Gambacher Kreuz switch to A45 to Giessen/Marburg. At the junction Südkreuz Giessen switch to A485 to Marburg, follow the autobahn, which becomes road B3 at some point til Marburg.

The closest airport is Frankfurt/Main International Airport (FRA). The train-connections to Marburg are very good. Please note that you need to change trains at Frankfurt main-station.Other airports, especially for charter flights are Cologne and Frankfurt/Hahn.
