Things to bring

  • Credit Card or ATM Card (please check with your credit card company or bank that your card can be used in Europe)
  • Internationally valid health insurance
  • Enough cash to buy food and beverages for the first few days and to cover the additional expenses
  • Possibly an international phone card
  • Any medication you may need
  • Towels
  • Alarm clock
  • Hairdryer
  • Comfortable and sturdy shoes (sneakers or light hiking shoes)
  • Swimsuit or swim trunks
  • Clothes for warm and sunny days, but also
  • Sweatshirt(s) and long pants for cooler days
  • Raincoat or umbrella
  • Dress clothes, for the opening and closing ceremony/presentation of certificates
  • Adaptor for electrical devices
  • ! The kitchens in the dorm are supposed to be equipped with cutlery etc. Sometimes, however, other students are reluctant in bringing these things back. That is why we recommend to bring one set of cutlery, a cup, a plate and a kitchen towel and cloth.
