Study Program
The ISU seminars are taught in English and German on this year's topic
Peace and Conflict. Near and Middle East: Political, Cultural, Economic Aspects of the Arab Spring - A European Perspective.
The classes are taught by faculty members from Germany and abroad.
Each seminar is one week or two weeks long and comprises 20 classroom hours.
Two seminars of your choice are covered by the program fee of the standard program.
Supplement Courses and Filmprogram
For the weeks without a seminar we offer supplement one-week courses. We will also show a film on one afternoon a week that will deal with the overall ISU topic. Please keep in mind that the attendance of TWO of the 6 supplement program components (5 supplement courses and the filmprogram) is obligatory for the issuing of ECTS credits. Regular class attendance is mandatory in order to get credit points and the attendant grade. In case of unexcused absence a student's grade may be impacted negatively, including a fail grade. |
