Study Program

The ISU seminars are taught in English and German on this year's topic Peace and Conflict. Near and Middle East – A European Perspective.

The classes are taught by faculty members from Germany and abroad.

Each seminar is one week long and comprises 16 or 20 classroom hours.

Two seminars of your choice are covered by the program fee of the standard program.

In weeks without seminars, we offer complementary courses, at no extra cost.

More information on seminars and complementary courses can be found on the page Class Schedule.

Please note: Your English, or German language skills should be good enough to follow courses taught in at least one of these languages.

Regular class attendance is mandatory in order to get credit points and the attendant grade. In case of unexcused absence a student's grade may be impacted negatively, including a fail grade.
