Map of the area
The Center for Conflict Studies can be found in the building Ketzerbach 11, first level. You will get to us:
...if arriving by train:
The train station lies about 10 walking minutes away. After leaving the station you follow the "Bahnhofsstraße" till the end. There you turn left into the "Elisabethstraße". After about 100 meters you stand right in front of an impressive gothic church (Elisabeth Church) - her you turn right into the "Ketzerbach". After about 50 meters you will find the above depicted building on the right handside.
Alternatively you can use about every bus leaving the train station towards the city centre. The respective stop is on the opposite side of the street. After few minutes you get off the bus at the stop "Elisabethkirche". From here orient yourself at the Elisabeth Church and follow the above description to the "Ketzerbach".
...if arriving by car:
Leave the B3 via the highway exit "Marburg Bahnhofstraße". If you come from the North (direction Kassel), turn right into the "Bahnhofstraße" after leaving the B3. Follow this street till the end, where you turn left into the "Elisabethstraße". From there take the first right into the Ketzerbach. Unfortunately there is restricted parking space - follow the blue parking signs for respective directions.
Coming from South (direction Gießen) you also leave the B3 via the highway exit "Marburg Bahnhofstraße". Then you turn left into the "Neue Kasseler Straße" and follow it up until the train station where you turn right into the "Bahnhofstraße".Follow this street till the end, where you turn left into the "Elisabethstraße". From there take the first right into the Ketzerbach. Unfortunately there is restricted parking space - follow the blue parking signs for respective directions.
...if you are walking from the city centre:
Simply orient yourself into the direction of the Elisabeth Church which is known by most Marburg pedestrians. If you stand in front of the church at the top of the big stairs look into the direct opposite direction than the church. You will see the "Ketzerbach" - the street where you find the above depicted building on the right handside, just after 50 meters.r
