Arriving in Marburg
Arrival by Plane
If you arrive at Terminal 1 of Frankfurt Airport:
- Pick up your luggage on the arrivals level
- Follow the signs to the Regional Train Station (Regionalbahnhof)
- Buy a train ticket to Marburg / Lahn (approx. 20 Euro) in the Travel Center (Reisezentrum)
- Take the S-Bahn to Frankfurt Main Train Station ("Hauptbahnhof")(approx. 10 min.)
- Change trains to go to Marburg
Arrival at Terminal 2 of Frankfurt Airport:
- Pick up luggage on the arrivals level
- Take the direct shuttle bus or the "Sky Line" to the airport train stations
- Buy a train ticket to Marburg / Lahn (approx. 20 Euro) in the Travel Center (Reisezentrum)
- Take the S-Bahn to Frankfurt Main Train Station ("Hauptbahnhof")(approx. 10 min.)
- Change trains to go to Marburg
Train to Marburg
The train trip from Frankfurt’s Main Train Station to Marburg takes approximately one hour.
| Important | Do not travel without a valid ticket! Please do not disembark the train at Marburg South (Marburg Süd), but continue on to the Marburg Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof)! |

Please go to the Milchbar (Mensa), Erlenring 5,
Notices pointing the way to the orientation programme are posted on the entrance doors.
Leave your baggage at the station and take a taxi or a bus to the Mensa. The closest bus stop is "Rudolphsplatz". Later follow the posters.
If you are coming by car, leave the urban motorway at the "Marburg Mitte" (AudiMax) exit. There is some street parking or you can park in the underground garage at the Lahn Center.
