Important: A new and improved administration interface, Greenlight Version 3, is now available for BigBlueButton. You can find out more about the process in the corresponding announcement (GER).
Webconf can be used to create and manage meetings for BigBlueButton. Webconf is an administration platform (based on the Greenlight application) for creating and managing meetings in BigBlueButton (BBB). Links to the meetings can be created via the interface and settings can be made for the rooms and for participation in a meeting.
The old scenarios
Please note that we will no longer provide the old interface, Greenlight version 2, from the end of the winter semester 2023/24!
We therefore strongly recommend that you switch to the new interface so that you can continue to use all the functions and benefits of BigBlueButton.
Please note that a technical migration of the old rooms and links is not possible. This means that you will have to recreate your rooms in the new interface! Any shared user rights granted should not be forgotten. (Persons who are to receive rights to a room must have logged in once in order to be added). The links to rooms you have published must also be updated, e.g. in calendars, in the CMS, in ILIAS courses or in e-mail signatures.
