Peace- and Conflict Studies (M.A.)

The M.A. Joint Degree in Peace and Conflict studies is an innovative 4-semester English language programme coordinated by the Centre for Conflict studies at the Philipps University of Marburg and the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent.

Students will begin their first year in beautiful Canterbury, England and will then complete their second year in historic Marburg, Germany. The two-year program offers students international experience and multi-cultural exposure, as well as a wide array of topics and subjects.

Our programme currently hosts students from over 12 different countries worldwide including Germany, Canada, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

The Centre for Conflict Studies at Marburg University has been awarded a grant by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Both German and international students are eligible to apply for internal DAAD scholarships.
