 increasing size of digital research data that is generated or collected in
  almost every research project requires us to be responsible\, proactive d
 ata managers. We are faced with the challenge of not only managing and doc
 umenting these data but also of preserving them and making them available 
 for reuse.\nWhile data management can sound like a lot of work for little 
 payoff\, managing our research data well actually yields considerable pers
 onal and practical benefits. Well-managed and well-described data is easie
 r to sort through\, access\, and understand\, thereby making our research 
 project more efficient. Good data management safeguards against data loss 
 and – increasingly important – publication retractions\, possibly spar
 ing you a frustrating experience.\nThis workshop will focus on best practi
 ces for managing digital research data. If you already have specific quest
