 ostcolonial-perspective\nAbstract:\nRights and rights claiming continue to
  be subjected to contestation and critical debate. Human rights doctrine h
 as long reflected a hierarchical stacking of rights in the liberal frame. 
 As neoliberal political economy is deepened\, advocates of the indivisibil
 ity of rights from the liberal tradition are aligning with private commerc
 ial rights and interests. Against this\, I offer a postcolonial perspectiv
 e of the indivisibility of rights which is rooted in critical political ec
 onomy. This critical lens is crucial for understanding the role of the dom
 inant rights agenda and aligned frameworks in organizing and maintaining c
 ontexts of injustices\, and in further delimiting strategies for redress\,
  thereby undermining legitimate social and political struggles. The latter
 \, however\, persists\, sometimes articulated and developed through innova
 tive forms of solidarist resistance.
