MSc. Seminar "Data Analysis with Python" (Summer 2022)

MARG is offering an M.Sc. seminar on "Data Analysis with Python" in the academic summer term 2022. The seminar will provide an introductory knowledge base of the Python programming language for data analysis. Specifically, it will touch on the basics of the programming language, data set manipulation, data visualization, the basics of statistical learning and machine learning, and provide you with the fundamental skills required to conduct empirical research projects with Python in the area of accounting and finance.

The seminar is open to all master students specializing within the “Accounting and Finance Group” but also to students generally interested in Accounting and Finance issues.

Schedule and Location:

Organizational issues will be discussed during the kick-off session. The schedule is as follows:

Kick-off session:	April 14^th, 2p.m. - 6p.m. (Pc Pool \| Universitätsstraße 25, Pavillon (U \| 06), 0)
Mid-presentation:	July 7^th(Pc Pool)
Seminar paper deadline:	September 8^th
