This article introduces the Disruptive Scenario Intervention (DSI) - an innovative, research-based approach designed to help organizations better understand and strategically respond to disruptive change.

Combining insights from strategic management, psychology, and design science research, the study demonstrates how process-oriented future scenarios can foster opportunity recognition, strengten managerial control perceptions, and support proactive strategic action.
