Summary of research interests
My research interests are in phonetics and phonology, with particular emphasis on (mor)phonotactics and word stress of Slavic and Germanic languages. I have investigated the prosodic complexity of, among others, English, German, Polish and Russian in relation to markedness principles, morphological structure and frequency. Empirical studies have used psycholinguistic and neurolinguistic methods (reaction times, electroencephalography) and kinematic measures of articulation (ultrasound imaging).
