If you fulfill the admission requirements you should start your application by uploading scans of your documents to the website of uni-assist e.V. in Berlin. Follow the link to find a detailed description of the application process via Uni-assist e.V.: https://www.uni-marburg.de/en/studying/admissions/application-process/mastersapplication/.

Please note uni-assist e.V. charges 75 Euros for the first application and 30 Euros for any further application (e.g. if you apply for one or two additional master courses).

You need also to provide a motivation letter of 300 to 500 words. Write why you are fascinated by functional materials and which particular materials are of interest to you.
This letter will be evaluated together with your certificates.
You should do a self-test available on our website. You need to submit a form which indicates that you did the self-test.

The grade systems differ from country to country. Uni-assist e.V. (https://my.uni-assist.de/)
will translate your grades into our German system.

Then your certificates and the motivation letter will be evaluated by an aptitude commission of the department. In certain cases, you can be selected for an interview, which can be carried out online. Afterward, you will be informed if your application was successful.

If you are accepted into the Master’s Program of Functional Materials, you will receive a letter of admission. Once you have received the letter of admission, you must enroll.

Please note that for enrollment, a certified copy of the previously uploaded transcript documents must be submitted to the Master's Office together with the documents for enrollment. Please send them to the following adress:
