Main Project: Spectroscopy of transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) alloys and their heterostructures
The research activities are primarily focused on monolayers of TMD alloys and their heterostructures. Mainly using optical characterization techniques to explore a deeper understanding of band alignments, charge/energy transfer mechanism, intra- and inter-layer excitonic features that underpin the peculiar properties of these low-dimensional materials.
