German Courses for International Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs Whose Native Language Is Not German

The Modern Language Center of Philipps-Universität offers German courses for international doctoral candidates and postdocs in cooperation with the MArburg University Research Academy and the International Office and Family Service (Dezernat VI). If you are an international doctoral candidate or postdoc at Philipps-Universität Marburg and would like to learn German or improve your knowledge of it so that you can get by better in everyday life, then we cordially invite you to participate in a German course. Thanks to the financial support from the STIBET program for doctoral candidates and postdocs of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), these courses can be offered free of charge.

Three or four courses are offered each semester, with a minimum enrollment of eight participants. The levels of the classes to be offered are determined by the placement test results. The Modern Language Center is in charge of registration, the placement test, and carrying out the courses. You can find more information on the webpage of the Modern Language Center.
