Orientation

As an international student, you’ll be met with a warm welcome when you arrive on campus. We’ll make sure you get all the support you need to make the most of your student experience at Philipps-Universität Marburg.

At the start of your studies our orientation program guides you through your initial administrative tasks, like taking out a German health insurance or getting your student ID to hook up to the internet. During this one-week program, we will help you cut through most of the red tape and assist you with all the formalities such as university enrolment or opening a bank account. Likewise, there will be several get-togethers during which you will have the chance to get in touch with other international and German students and make first friends.
