Your experience as an international student at the University of Marburg matters to us. By completing the International Student Barometer survey (ISB) you’re able to share your personal experience, thoughts and concerns with us in an effort to shape the future of UM and positively influence international student experience for your fellow and future students.
What’s ISB all about?
As some of you might already know, we're committed to improving the experience of our international students, so we've asked an independent research agency (i-graduate) to gather feedback on your experiences at the University of Marburg. So here is your opportunity to tell us what’s working, what’s frustrating and what you think of your university experience so far.
Who can participate?
All international Bachelor and Master students enrolled at UM plus all international doctoral candidates are invited to join – no matter whether you’re with us only for a semester or for your entire studies.
How can I participate?
We’ve already sent an invite to the online survey to your university email account at https://home.students.uni-marburg.de/login.php – just click the link and you’re good to go.
Why should I participate?
This is your chance to tell us precisely what you like, what you don’t like, and what you wish to see improved. The results will help to advance not only your international study experience and social life for the rest of your time at UM, it will also help us to improve our services for future fellow students.
How long does it take to complete the survey?
It only takes 15 minutes to complete the survey.
What happens to my data?
All responses are confidential and anonymous and will be used for research purposes only.
What’s in it for me?
All students who participate in the ISB 2018 will enter into i-graduate’s national prize draw to win £1,000 cash. In addition, UM students have the chance to win 5 iPads and 10 UM-Hoodies.
When does the survey close?
The survey closes on 31 December 2018.
