Opportunities to get vaccinated

The University of Marburg would like to offer as much face-to-face teaching as possible in the current pandemic situation. You can contribute to this by getting vaccinated against COVID-19. Please refer to the information about the vaccination offer of the University of Marburg.

There are recurring official vaccination events throughout Marburg-Biedenkopf.

In this context, we would also like to draw your attention to the vaccination appeal of the state government (pdf) (German).

Regarding the validity of proof of "vaccinated" or "recovered" status in Germany, you will find up-to-date information on the websites of the

Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the
Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI). (both in German)

There are new EU regulations for the validity period of EU vaccination certificates since February 1, 2022. These expire after 270 days. The regulation applies to cross-border travel in EU member states.

Vaccinations for Employees and Students

Philipps-Universität Marburg offers vaccination campaigns for university members. All interested persons can come to these dates for the first vaccination as well as for the second and third vaccination. The vaccination takes place in the former university library, Wilhelm-Röpke-Straße 4. Vaccination will be with the mRNA vaccine from Pfizer/Biontech or Moderna.

In addition to the individual vaccination campaigns, special vaccination days are held exclusively for employees. These are announced separately and internally.

You will simplify the procedures if you print out the educational and medical history forms yourself in advance and bring them filled out and signed:
