As part of the DFG infrastructure project GFBio and the LOEWE project Nature 4.0, computer scientists and geographers at Philipps-Universität Marburg have developed the platform Geo Engine - a cloud-based service that bundles the integration and efficient processing of spatio-temporal data and intuitively opens up the latest visualisation and analysis methods. Geo Engine should be ready for the market within the next year and a half. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy is funding the project with over 700,000 euros as part of the EXIST research transfer funding line.

More information on the Geo Engine is available at https://www.geoengine.de/.
