The team around Hamidreza Jamalabadi, Alina Buschhüter and Marco Rothermel succeeded among 50 applicant teams in the Marburg ideas competition and came third in the final with their start-up idea MindShift.

The team is pursuing an innovative, AI-supported therapeutic approach that enables effective treatment of affective disorders. With MindShift, perception and thought patterns are analyzed individually so that negative thoughts can be transformed into positive ones through tailored (neuro)stimulation. 

The Marburg Ideas Competition was organized by the Marburg Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MAFEX) at theUniversity of Marburg under the patronage of the Hessian Minister of State and Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Areas, Mr. Kaweh Mansoori. Ten of the more than 50 applicant teams were selected for the final in the Lokschuppen and were able to pitch their start-up idea to a 9-member jury and more than 250 interested spectators.
