| The group of Prof. Sundermeyer explores the borderline research of inorganic and organic chemistry. In focus are molecular metal compounds for catalytic applications (oxidation and polymerization catalysis, olefin hydroamination), but also for materials chemistry applications (MOCVD precursors, chromophore complexes for dye sensitized solar cells and OLED). Functional molecules with extreme characteristics such as superbasic proton acceptors or flouroorganic electron acceptors and functional electrolytes such as task specific ionic liquids and lithium electrolytes are explored. |
