30.05.2026 Strengthening Cooperation: NAVINCLASS Partners Align on Next Steps at TPM2
At the second NAVINCLASS meeting in Madrid, partners analyzed empirical focus group data to develop practical, reflective frameworks that help educators constructively navigate classroom polarization. The consortium also finalized logistics for an upcoming quantitative survey and aligned on future project milestones.
On 28 - 29 May 2026, Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid hosted the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) of the NAVINCLASS project. Building on the initial kickoff, partners gathered to analyze early empirical findings and map out the next phases of implementation.
A key highlight of the meeting was the evaluation of qualitative focus group data, exploring how students perceive classroom conflicts and how societal polarization impacts academic environments. Rather than searching for rigid pedagogical recipes, the consortium focused on developing reflective, process-oriented frameworks (Work Package 3) to help educators constructively navigate intense debates and emotional responses. Additionally, the team finalized logistics for an upcoming quantitative survey and aligned on administrative, publication, and dissemination plans.
