The Professor of film studies Daniela Treveri Gennari joins as our third Fellow in the Digital Cinema-Hub (DiCi-Hub).

At the invitation of the Digital Cinema-Hub, Prof. Daniela Treveri Gennari gave a Lecture on “European Cinema Audiences: Data Harmonisation and the Digital Archive”. The lecture presented the methodological challenges of a large-scale comparative study. It will be using the AHRC-funded project European Cinema Audiences: Entangled Histories, Shared Memories (2017-2022) (ECA) as an example to discuss harmonization within both programming and oral history data. Moreover, it will reflect on the process of creating a digital archive, which not only acts as a repository of the collected data, bu as an analytical tool and a starting point for future research.
