The aim of the first workshop at the Institute of Media Studies at Philipps University Marburg was to get to know each other and to present current research projects. In addition, it provided a framework for discussing the working program and key activities of the network. It also allows for a first mapping of current approaches, methods, tools, and challenges in the field of digital film historiography.
