Target group

Laborpersonal, das regelmäßig die englische Sprache nutzt, um mit Kolleginnen oder Kollegen über Themen des Arbeitsalltags zu reden.
Laboratory staff using regularly the English language to talk with colleagues about issues from the working context.

Brief description

In this course you will practice to use important lab vocabulary and will learn new words from your professional fields. There is also a strong focus on communication skills which will help you to communicate with international colleagues and researchers more effectively. In addition, you will have the chance to present experiments you work on and their results; in an oral and/or written form.

Learning outcome

At the end of the course you will have

• increased your vocabulary, particularly in the context working in a laboratory;
• gained more confidence using important lab vocabulary;
• improved your communication skills when using the English language in international contexts.
