Thanks to an Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Grant, Ana Pantea from our INCOPS partner, the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj, Romania, was able to visit the University of Marburg in September 2022.
She was hosted by the Center for Conflict Studies, which organised a series of activities and meetings. For instance, Ana Pantea took part in several open discussions with academic staff from the University of Marburg regarding our respective experiences and pedagogical approaches to experiential learning in Conflict Studies and International Relations.
This exchange was a real benefit of this mobility opportunity as we were able to develop and strengthen our relationships. Furthermore, the participants learned about new approaches in academic management and teaching that gave impulses for our work.

Besides the academic exchange, we had the chance to also show Ana Pantea a little bit of the city of Marburg. What impressed her most was eventually the graffiti and sticker collections hosted in all the buildings of the University of Marburg!

As a follow-up of our meetings in Marburg, we were able to organize a shared online seminar between students from the University of Marburg and UBB two months later. The main speaker was Prof. Emeritus Menachem Klein from Ben Gurion University.
We believe that all students, from both locations, enjoyed the vivid discussion.

We warmly invite our colleagues from University of Marburg to likewise apply for Erasmus mobility grants to Babes-Bolyai University to share best practices in teaching, intercultural experience, and academic management expertise.
