Join us in Marburg!

The University of Marburg will host, from 13 to 14 June 2024, the joint meeting of the Biogeography specialist group (AK Biogeographie) within the Federation of Geographers at German Universities and the Macroecology specialist group (AK Makroökologie) within the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GfÖ). Deadline for abstract submission extended until 30 April 2024!

This meeting will run under the theme of Artificial Intelligence in Biogeography and Macroecology. We particularly welcome submissions in this area, in addition to contributions from all areas of biogeography and macroecology. We're excited to welcome Daniele Silvestro (University of Fribourg), Florian Hartig (University of Regensburg) and Jana Wäldchen (Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, Jena) as keynote speakers.

We also offer two pre-conference data workshops on 12 June aimed particularly, but not exclusively, at early-career researchers.

We look forward to welcoming you in Marburg.
