Unsere Arbeitsgruppe analysiert die anatomische, neurochemische, und funktionelle Organisation des Insektengehirns. Derzeitige Projekte untersuchen Anatomie und Funktion des Zentralkomplexes (Schistocerca gregaria), Mechanismen des Polarisationssehsystems und der Kompassorientierung (Schistocerca gregaria), neuronale Mechanismen circadianer Rhythmik (Schabe Leucophaea maderae), und die Verteilung von Neurotransmittern und Neuropeptiden (verschiedene Spezies).
