Directions

Arrival by train:

The department can be conveniently reached by train and local bus. Every hour there are trains departing from Kassel and Frankfurt to Marburg (cp. timetable for Die Bahn (DB)).

At Marburg "Hauptbahnhof" (Main station) take bus no. 7 (terminal: "Sonnenblick über Klinikum") to "Hans-Meerweinstraße". The stop at the main station is located in front of a bank about 30 meters from the main entrance of the station on the left side of the street. During peak hour a bus departs every 20 minutes. You can look up the schedule at Fahrplanauskunft RMV (timetable).

Alternatively there is a taxi-stand at the main station.

Arrival by car:

If you come from Kassel or Frankfurt you come to Marburg on Bundesstraße 3 (federal road no. B3). From north please take exit Wehrda and follow the white signs "Klinikum" resp. "Uni Lahnberge". From south please take exit Marburg-Süd and follow the white signs Klinikum resp. Uni Lahnberge.

On the hill Lahnberge follow the sign Hans-Meerwein-Straße (cp. map).
