Learning objectives
Students obtain an overview of international trade theories and international trade policy. The course covers a discussion of the gains, patterns, and effects of trade on international policy and the distribution of income.

The lecture closely follows the textbook "International Economics" by Krugman/Obstfeld/Melitz. In the tutorial, the solutions to the exercises given in the book are presented and can be discussed. Students have the possibility to solve online assignments, which are available on ILIAS.
