Once or twice a year, our working group organizes a Group Conference. At this mini-conference, some group members and guests present the topics they are researching on.

The next Group Conference is planned for December 1, starting at 2:30 p.m.

It will take place in the lecture hall at Renthof 7.  It will take about  two and a half hours. The program is currently being worked out.

Prof. Antonello Andreone and Dr. Yasith Amarasinghe recently joined our working group and are expected to stay with us for two years. Of the two scientists,  Dr. Yasith Amarasinghe is scheduled to give a presentation. Professor Antonello Andreone is currently not in Marburg.

From November 24 to December 5, we will be visited by Prof. Khaled Shakfa, who has been a member of the working group for many years and did his PhD  with us. He is invited to give a presentation.

The GS profiles of the three scientists:

• Prof. Antonello Andreone
• Dr. Yasith Amarasinghe
• Prof. Khaled Shakfa

 In addition, Felix Gorka, Tobias Hofmann, Maik Wehn, and Alexander Jäckel will give presentations.

The presentations will take 12 + 3 minutes.

 We will have a coffee break in between, and I will provide cake.

Our students will be asked to present a poster about their results. This means there will also be a small poster session. This makes sense, because learning how to create a poster is an important step in becoming a scientist.
